April Traveling Fun "Ride" - Ride the SRT

The AARC bike ride is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th at 8:00 am.

The ride starts at Spring Mill Train Station in the parking lot located at 98 Station Avenue near Hector Street Conshohocken, PA. 

Spring Mill to Art Museum via Manayunk Bridge and Cynwyd trail. 

Please arrive early and be ready to roll out at 8:00 am.

Riders bring their own water bottles and fuel for during the ride.

The ride to the Art Museum avoids going through Manayunk. From the SRT, right before you get there you exit the trail and take the Manayunk bridge over the Schuylkill. A bit of an uphill but not bad. This takes you onto the Cynwyd trail which you follow for about a mile to the entrance of the West Laurel Cemetery. You go through the cemetery (which is open to bike riders/runners with signage) and then do a mega downhill. You then cross over another converted railroad bridge which takes you into where the old Manayunk diner used to be.  Then you follow the road around to Kelly Drive. 

From the Art Museum. coming back on Kelly drive, you will have to go through Manayunk for about a mile, but there are bike lanes and also many riders go through there. You then get back onto the SRT back to Spring Mill.  The total ride is about 25 miles.
